Gelli extradition approved
The French authorities have approved the extradition to Italy of Licio Gelli, former grand master of Italy's Propaganda Two masonic lodge.
Gelli was being held in hopital in Nice after an apparent suicide attempt following his arrest in France last month.
Gelli disappeared from
Italy in April when under house arrest after being sentenced to
twelve years' imprisonment for his part in the fraudulent
bankruptcy of the Ambrosiano bank.
