Is Pierre Poilievre linked to the World Economic Forum (WEF) and part of the “globalist agenda”? No, that’s not true.
There is a popular conspiracy theory that Canadian politicians are part of an elaborate conspiracy to take advantage of Covid-19. The theory links Klaus Schwab, the WEF, and multiple Canadian politicians from across the spectrum.
While the conspiracy theory has some basis in truth, there is no evidence that Pierre Poilievre is linked to the WEF or Klaus Schwab in any way. Believers in the conspiracy often provide screenshots of Poilievre being listed on the WEF’s website as proof. Toronto 99 was able to confirm that the page existed, and has now been scrubbed.
However, this doesn’t prove the Pierre Poilievre is connected to the WEF. Furthermore, Poilievre denied being linked to WEF during an interview with Andrew Lawton in March. Poilievre slammed the organization and says he disagrees with its policies.
The Great Reset is an initiative by the WEF to manage the Covid-19 pandemic and “improve the state of the world.” However, it is viewed by many as an attempt by a shadowy group of elites using it to dismantle capitalism and enforce radical left-wing social change.
